西本　智実 （指揮)

大阪に生まれる。
1994年　大阪音楽大学音楽学部作曲学科作曲専攻卒業。
1996年　ロシア国立サンクトペテルブルク音楽院に留学し、
Ｖ．フェドートフ、Ｉ．ムーシンに学ぶ。　

1998年　文化庁芸術インターンシップ奨学金研修生に選ばれる。
1998年　京都市交響楽団を指揮し日本デビュー。
1999年　「出光音楽賞」を受賞。
同年、ショスタコーヴィチ記念サンクトペテルブルクフィルハーモニアホールにてサンクトペテルブルク・フィル（旧レニングラードフィル）のメンバーによる室内管弦楽団を指揮した演奏会が絶賛を博す。

2000年　大阪市「咲くやこの花賞」受賞。
2002年　ABC音楽賞本賞、大阪２１世紀協会特別賞受賞。

2002年 キーロフ（マリィンスキー）劇場の提携公演による関西歌劇団公演にてチャイコフスキー『エウゲニ・オネーギン』を指揮して大成功に導いた。

2003年　ハバロフスク・ダーンヌイ・ヴァストーク交響楽団に客演。
サンクトペテルブルク放送交響楽団に客演。同交響楽団の日本公演を指揮した。
更に、チャイコフスキー記念財団ロシア交響楽団の来日公演を指揮し、
その的確な音楽性を認められ翌年同楽団の、芸術監督兼首席指揮者に就任した。

10月にはムソルグスキー記念　サンクトペテルブルク国立アカデミックオペラ・バレエ劇場（旧レニングラード国立歌劇場）にてヴェルディの「椿姫」を指揮。
その成果が認められ急遽シーズン内での指揮依頼を受け、「リゴレット」を指揮。
その成功により首席客演指揮者に就任。

2004年5月　チャイコフスキー記念財団・ロシア交響楽団　芸術監督・首席指揮者に就任（2004-2007）。
9月　ムソルグスキー記念　サンクトペテルブルク国立アカデミックオペラ・バレエ劇場（旧レニングラード国立歌劇場）首席客演指揮者に就任（2004-2006）。
オペラ指揮者としての地位を確立している。

2005年11月6日国立チャイコフスキーの家博物館ホール（クリン市）にて、
チャイコフスキー未完成交響曲「ジーズニ」第２楽章の初演を指揮。
その模様はロシアや日本においてもニュース、新聞などでとりあげられた。

2006年5月7日　クリン市チャイコフスキーの家博物館記念ホールにて、
チャイコフスキー未完成交響曲「ジーズニ」全楽章初演を指揮。
その後チャイコフスキー記念財団ロシア交響楽団を率いて、日本国内７ケ所（８公演）来日公演。

2006年8月「第52回スプリット夏の音楽祭」「第５７回ドゥブロヴニク夏の音楽祭」を指揮。
10月にはハンガリー国立歌劇場来日公演で「トスカ」を指揮。

2007 年 2 月、モスクワ交響楽団ロシアフィルを指揮。
4 月にはオーストリアのリンツ、ブルックナーハウスにおいてブルックナー管弦楽団定期演奏会を好演、大成功をおさめ、ヨーロッパでの活躍の第一歩となった。 9 月 16 日モナコに於いてのモンテカルロ・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団との公演では熱狂的な大成功を収め翌日の新聞では大きく取り上げられた。 10月プラハ国立歌劇場の来日公演で「椿姫」を指揮。聴衆に深い感動を与えた。
2008年4月、再びモスクワ交響楽団ロシアフィルを指揮し、好評を博す。
6月昨年に続きモナコにおいてモンテカルロ・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団を指揮し、その後、来日公演11ヶ所（11公演）を行い、大成功を収める。
10月20日、21日にはハンガリー国立歌劇場において、ブダペスト・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団のシーズン最初の定期公演を指揮し、
大反響を呼んだ。　

2010年9月よりロシア国立交響楽団首席客演指揮者に就任、また2011年4月より八王子新市民会館のエグゼクティブプロデューサーに就任する。

国内においては1998年デビュー以来、新日本フィル、東京交響楽団、東京シティ・フィル、東京都交響楽団、東京フィル、日本フィル、読売日本交響楽団、神奈川フィル、オーケストラ・アンサンブル金沢、大阪フィル、大阪センチュリー交響楽団、大阪シンフォニカー交響楽団、ザ・カレッジ・オペラハウス管弦楽団、関西フィル、札幌交響楽団、名古屋フィル、
広島交響楽団、九州交響楽団など国内の主要オーケストラを指揮し、好評のためチケットは完売になることが多い。

また、2007年よりダボス会議を主催する世界経済フォーラムのヤング・グローバルリーダーを務める。

Tomomi Nishiomoto (Conductor)

Ms. Tomomi Nishimoto is a graduate of the Osaka College of Music, where she received her Bachelor of Music in Composition. Upon graduation, Ms. Nishomoto went abroad to the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory in Russia and pursued further study in opera and symphony conducting. She is a recipient of numerous awards and scholarships, including Agency for Cultural Affairs of Japan’s Internship in Arts and Music scholarship and Idemitsu Music Award.

As a talented conductor, Ms. Nishomoto has held various appointments in her career. From 2004 to 2006, she served as the Principal Guest Conductor for the St. Petersburg Mussorgsky State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. She has also served as the Chief Conductor and Artistic Director for Russian Symphony Orchestra of the Tchaikovsky Foundation from 2004 to 2007. Other accomplishment of Ms. Nishimoto’s during her time in Russia includes performance with the Moscow City Symphony Orchestra “Russian Philharmonic”. All these posts are seldom granted to those of non-Russian background.

Ms. Nishimoto has been invited to numerous music festivals as well. These include: Split Summer Festival, Dubrovnik Summer Festival, Prague Proms, and Vilnius Music Festival.

In 2007, Ms. Nishomoto set her foot into Europe with a successful performance at the Bruckner Orchestra Linz concert held at Brucknerhaus in Austria. Capitalizing on her newly gained notoriety in Europe, she later performed with various European ensembles. These include: Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, Budapest Philharmonic Orchestra, British Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, Romanian State Philharmonic Orchestra (George Enescu), and Latvian National Symphony Orchestra.

In addition to her orchestral activities, Ms. Nishomoto is also a renowned opera conductor. Her work includes successful collaborations with the Hungarian State Opera House and the Prague State Opera.

Since 2007, she has also been working as a Young Global Leader for the World Economic Forum, which hosts annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland. Through her endeavors to serve as a leader, she has attracted attention from around the world.

Currently, Ms. Nishimoto is scheduled to act as the Principal Guest Conductor with the STATE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA OF RUSSIA (Svetlanov Symphony Orchestra) beginning this September. Also this year, she is scheduled to perform a concert with the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, Latvian National Symphony Orchestra and with the Bruckner Orchestra Linz, as well as making a foray into the United States by working with the American Symphony Orchestra. She is also scheduled to be promoted to be the Executive Producer of the Tokyo-To Hachioji-Shi Civic Center in Japan.
